The rise of social media has transformed how individuals access investment information, with influencers playing a dominant role in shaping public perception. The "Fear of Missing Out" (FOMO) phenomenon, triggered by influencer content, often drives investors to make hasty investment decisions. This study examines the extent to which the psychological pressure of FOMO—propagated by influencers—influences individual investment decisions. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing a survey method for primary data collection. The study sample consisted of 83 respondents selected via purposive sampling. Simple Linear Regression analysis was used to examine the impact of the independent variable on the dependent variable, with data processed using Excel and Orange Data Mining 4.0 software. The results indicate that influencer-induced FOMO has a positive effect on investment decisions; specifically, any increase in the intensity of FOMO triggered by influencers is accompanied by a significant increase in investment decisions. The coefficient of determination reveals that influencer-induced FOMO plays a dominant role in explaining the variation in investment decisions among the sampled group. In conclusion, the level of FOMO triggered by influencers plays a crucial role in shaping respondents' investment behavior.
